Here We Are: In The End of The Season
Hello Everyone, so the Global New Media Lab 2014-2015 ended by today. Everyone have made some efforts to be the best as they can and also myself. Congratulations for everyone who has been chosen as the finalist of GNML this year. I want to tell you again that GNML or Global New Media Lab is a program created for Exchange Students in the USA to learn how to use a social media for social campaign. Here i am now, and i want to share to you guys what do i think about all of the social media platforms that i have learned in GNML program.
Basically social media used by people to share about something to other people people through the internet connection. In this season, i have learned about how to use blogger maximally, twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and the professional account
, LinkedIn. I'm pretty sure that most people did know about all of those social media platform, For me, all of that social media are very valuable and great way to spread out your campaign. Because we all know that through the Internet we can do whatever we want and people know what we re talking about. So, i'll keep using all of those social media o promote my campaign today and also in the future. And in my country, Indonesia, all of those social media platforms are legal to use so that's what make it easier to use.

First is Blogger, According to me, blog is the most important thing to have if you want to promote your social media. Because blog has more features and it's also able to post our others social media. By embed all of our social media in our blog, people also can make a connection with us without promoting our others social media itself because people can find us in our blog.
The next is twitter. Twitter is the most powerful social media platform by using hashtag. Every people use hashtag to find people who might have the same idea as ourselves. So then we can work together promoting our campaign.
YouTube the is the most audiovisual social media platform to tell people about what's our campaign about and how do we gonna achieved it in the real situations. So, by YouTube people can see what are we doing and make people more understand the background and the solving of our social media campaign.
Facebook has the largest connections between people all over the world. Facebook is really popular in my country. By using Facebook we can promote our campaign through the Fan Page that we made and invite all of our friends to support our campaign. It's really easy because most of people have their own Facebook account and we can also ask our friends to ask their friends to support our campaign.
The next is Instagram. Instagram is one of the social media that can we use to promote our campaign to the image that relate to our campaign so we can make people more understand and invite people to support our social media campaign. By using Instagram, people can make a visualization that refers to their project.
And the last one is LinkedIn. LinkedIn is the professional way to promote our social media. By using LinkedIn people able to know who are we, and what are our backgrounds so and made people believe that we are really serious with our project.
So, in the future i will continue to use all of those social media platforms because they are really helpful to promote our campaign and really handy because most of people already have their own account, So, we just need to make some efforts to make a connection with other people and invite people to support our campaign. I will continue my project till i come home and make a change for a better way of life.

Get Recyclables Get Money
Hi again Everybody. I think it's not to late for one more post this Friday Night. Because my hands just can't stop typing for some reasons.
Okay, here is another interesting article that i got from my Google Alerts. The articles is talking about taking the advantages of the high school's electronic recycling event by bringing their unused and broken electronics and recyclables to the school to be recycled and scrapped. The school held an event that supported by a local residents to raise up money.

The event organized by an institution and the marching band and they invited the drivers to stop by the high school and drop their recyclables. They were pleased because the got lots of recyclables by the people who came with their recyclables to the event and the band also got the donations. In that article it said that the band raised money for about $1,800.
What an amazing fundraising! So, we can conclude that you can get it if you work on it. And you can get more if you achieve it. Do A Small Thing in A Great Way. Let's Recycle!

Reward Alerts !!!
Hello Everybody! Happy Friday Night!
This is a really good idea to be applied because it makes a good start for people to recycling their electronic waste and this is also the way to invite so more people to take the advantages from their waste, so then no more junk around the house.
I just got a very interesting article from my Google Alerts. Boston, MA Save offers $100 for recycling refrigerators or freezers by February 15.
In that article, it says that the program encourages customers to reduce their energy use by recycling old, second refrigerators and freezers. Because of many people may not realize that older units consume as much as four times more energy than newer, more efficient models. Removing an old refrigerator or freezer can help you save up to $150 a year on your utility bill by decreasing household energy use.

This is a really good idea to be applied because it makes a good start for people to recycling their electronic waste and this is also the way to invite so more people to take the advantages from their waste, so then no more junk around the house.
And they also offer the pickup appointment with people who wants their electronic waste to be recycled, so then people do no have to be worry about carrying their electronic waste to the recycling center. What a marvelous idea! By doing recycling thing we can get a feedback and who knows that by doing a small thing in a great way we can live our life better.
