Isn't It Possible?

Hi everybody, good to see you again and stay tune in my Blog. Okay, so today is a very cold Friday on November 14th and make my fingers a little numb for typing on the keyboard. But, here we go. So, we've told about doing recycling and collected the trash in the school so then we can earn money to held activities by student council. So, i just got from Google Alert that some school in my country, Indonesia, has just started to do recycling and collected the inorganic trash so they can raise money and help people who live around the school.

The Garbage Bank In Jambi is officially announced.

In that site, it said that the students and the teachers are work together to do recycling and the activities handled by Student council or OSIS, and it supervised by a teacher as adviser. This is a very good beginning and also support by the government in that place. Their purposes for doing so is because they said that they can increase the economic value and decrease the volume of waste in that place. So, by doing the small thing perhaps they can live their life better.

Do Small Thing in a Great Way

Hi everybody, good too see you again and keep stay tune in my Blog. As i said before that i'm a participant of PH International's Global New Media Lab, Now, Let me introduce you to my Social Campaign in order to create a social change and a better life.

So i've been in Oregon for more than two months, and here is a very different things that people in Oregon do and less of Indonesian did. It's all about recycling things. So, my school in Indonesia is a very new school and i'm a second generation of my school. I was a member of student council that we always held many activities in a year like Bungkasai Japanese Festival, Gempita Muharram, Science Competition for Junior high students and so on. We always get in trouble about the fund and money that we need for doing such a many activities like that. We also gave a proposal to another company that may help to get fund and money but it just didn't help so much considering my school is new and some of the company didn't know about our school.

So the story is begin here, when i wanted to toss the paper into the garbage in my host family's house, suddenly my host mom said that "No, we're gonna recycle that paper". I was surprised and then put the paper in the recycling box, special for paper only. And then they said that they got money by doing recycling. So, suddenly, i was wondering that people in my country are so rare to do recycling thing and sometimes we just mixed up the organic trash with the inorganic one.

So, i think what i'm gonna do to help my school is i want to invite all students in my school to start doing recycling and get fund and money to held the activities by student council. Especially the paper because paper is common things that used by students. Fortunately, We also live in the dormitory so it will get easier to collect the trash and separate them and probably we have lots of trash that can be easily collected by the students. Even, for the first time, may be we just separate the paper or another kind of things that can be recycle and bring it to the company that doing recycling. That we will get pay for it because they may give us money and fund even thought its smaller than we hope, but if we continue for doing so, it may help us to built our own fund and money to held those activities.

I think this activity can help my school so much. Because by doing the small thing in a great way is the way to create a great change in a small community. So, when my school get the positive impact by doing that, the community around us also will doing the same thing because it earns money and live their life. That's also the way for people to reduce the pollution and keep the environment clean. Especially for paper. It made from trees so by recycling paper we safe the earth. So let me yell my Campaign "Recycling-Safe the earth-Safe the environment-Safe your pocket"
